This national park is famous for fuchsia pink flamingos that are present in millions of numbers. You can find two types of Flamingos i.e., lesser and greater Flamingos. On one hand, the greater type is less in numbers with a distinctive black bill and on the other hand, the lesser type is more in numbers with their pink plumage and red bills.   

With the presence of more than 550 plant species, it is rich in flora which includes yellow acacia woodlands, etc.   

Masai Mara National Reserve

The Masai Mara National Reserve is a hub of natural beauty and picturesque views; it is located at southwest of Kenya. You can find various animals such as African Buffalo, Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Wildebeest, Leopards, Zebra, Giraffe, Rhino, and much more. It also provides shelter to endangered species like the black rhino that are found in dense forests.  

Near the Mara River, you can also find black hippos as well as crocodiles; Apart from these species, this national park is home to more than 450 species of birds.
